PAUL RUSTER PARK IS NOW OPEN!
DETAILS: Users are asked to pick up passes at the Post Road Community Center
which is just south of Prospect on Post Road. (Closed on Wednesdays). Bring shot records to get registered and get on the list.
The number of passes will intially be limited to 400, so it is important that
folks get on the list quickly. There will be no charge for passes until
the gate locks have been installed.
The park is divided into two sections with one side set aside as an
alternate site to let the grass recover when needed. The four acres
include a wooded lot on the north end of the park which provides
a bit of intrigue for the canine hunter types. The brush will be
cleared and there will be an official opening
celebration in the spring. Meanwhile, bring your canines and
enjoy the fun.
