Volunteers

The Broad Ripple Canine Companion Zone is supported by a strong volunteer corp. Many of whom help to get the park started. These volunteers are committed to maintaining the park and ensuring that it is a pleasant place for all who use.

Park Monitor. The park monitor would be available at scheduled times to monitor the gate admission and park activities. They are to act as an official resource when question or concern arise with in the park. They are to bring to the attention of the park users any rules which are not being followed. They are to validate and record adverse event and the individuals involved and to bring these to the attention of the park management or park range.

Park Manpower. From time to time it is necessary to have park clean up and park maintenance. Individuals may volunteer their time to assist in these events and to be an added manpower resource for the parks department to assist in reseeding, aeration, tree care and park repair.

Park Events. From time to time the BRPark CCZ and Gilmer Park may have fund raising and/or educational events for the park member and the community. Individuals may volunteer their time to assist in the planning and running of these activities.
